Bring Your Practice to the Mountains
Teach, share, and create at SkyArtworks.
SkyArtworks is seeking artists, makers, and creative instructors to lead workshops and classes during our 2026 season.
We are looking for engaging, community-minded instructors who enjoy sharing their skills in a welcoming, hands-on setting. Workshops may take the form of a one-time class, weekend intensive, or multi-session series.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome workshop proposals in a wide range of creative disciplines, including:
- Painting and drawing
- Fiber arts and textiles
- Ceramics and sculpture
- Printmaking
- Mixed media
- Nature-inspired or place-based art
- Functional and craft-based arts, including glass, wood, and jewelry
- Creative technology or light-based work
- Youth and family-friendly classes
Both first-time and experienced instructors are encouraged to apply.
Workshop Opportunities
Workshops will be scheduled throughout the 2026 season and may take place between spring and late fall. Classes are held at SkyArtworks in downtown Skykomish and may be designed for beginners, intermediate learners, or all skill levels.
We are especially interested in workshops that encourage creativity, connection, and hands-on learning.
Proposal Guidelines
To be considered, please send:
- A short description of your workshop idea
- Preferred format and length
- Materials needed, including whether you provide them
- Intended audience and skill level
- A brief instructor bio
- A few images of your work or a link to your portfolio
- Your general availability or preferred timing
Compensation
Instructor compensation will be based on class format, fees, and enrollment. Details will be discussed with selected instructors.
