Do you find inspiration in the creatures of the forest, river, and mountain?
For this exhibition, we turn our attention to the animals—seen and unseen—that inhabit the natural world around us. From birds and fish to mammals and imagined beings, Woodland Creatures explores both the observable and the mysterious life of the woods.
SkyArtworks is seeking artists to showcase their work in our gallery. We invite artists of all mediums—painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, stained glass, and more—to apply for exhibition opportunities.
We welcome submissions in the following forms, including but not limited to:
- Wildlife Painting & Illustration – Birds, mammals, fish, and forest life
- Sculpture & Carved Forms – Animals or creature-inspired three-dimensional work
- Ceramic & Clay Creatures – Functional or sculptural forms inspired by wildlife
- Fiber & Textile Work – Felted, woven, or stitched interpretations of animals or natural forms
- Photography – Wildlife, landscape, or narrative imagery capturing the spirit of the forest
- Mixed Media & Assemblage – Works incorporating natural or found materials
- Mythical & Imagined Creatures – Folklore-inspired or invented beings of the forest
- Story-Based or Symbolic Work – Personal or narrative interpretations of the natural world
Let’s See What You Do
Whether your work is rooted in observation or imagination, we invite you to share what lives in your version of the woods.
Eligibility:
- Open to artists working in any medium
- Both emerging and established artists are welcome
- Artwork must be original and suitable for display
