Exhibition Dates:           July – August 2026

Summer is the season of movement, adventure, and open skies. For our July and August exhibition, Take Flight, we  invite artists to explore the many meanings of flight—from wings, birds, insects, clouds, wind, aviation, and migration to dreams, freedom, escape, and the feeling of lifting off into something new. Interpret the theme literally or abstractly. We welcome work inspired by delicate feathers, soaring landscapes, kites, flying machines, imaginative creatures, airy forms, summer skies, and bold movement.

We are seeking artists of all mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, fiber, glass, ceramics, printmaking, and more. This exhibition welcomes artwork that feels light, bold, airy, energetic, or full of motion.

Whether your work is rooted in nature, imagination, memory, or motion, we invite you to share your interpretation of what it means to Take Flight.

Eligibility:

Open to artists working in any medium
Both emerging and established artists are welcome
Artwork must be original and suitable for display

Exhibition Details

The exhibition will run for the months of July and August 2026. Artists are responsible for the delivery, installation, and deinstallation of their work. Once installed, SkyArtworks’ insurance will cover the value of the pieces in the case of damage or theft during the exhibition.
